Why is there so much dislike for glitter makeup and nails?

I’ve heard some women say that glitter is childish and meant for younger girls. Why is that? How can glitter have an age limit?

I’m almost 40 and will never give up glitter nails, especially glitter toes. I don’t believe in age rules.

I’m 44 and feel the same way. My nails are always glittery, and I get tons of compliments.

Same here! I work in healthcare with mostly seniors, and I love seeing the ladies with pink hair, glitter nails, fairy hair, ruffle socks, and all the jewelry. Whatever makes you happy is so fun.

I agree! I love seeing people of all ages express themselves through fashion and makeup. Maybe it’s because I grew up in the 80s and 90s, but there are some things I’ll always love, like glitter, sparkles, big hair, big glasses, animal prints, and pink lipstick or gloss.

I’m about to turn 40 and I agree! I’m a glittery person, and who cares what others think!

I’m 40, and there’s no way I’m cutting my hair into a ‘mom do’ or getting rid of all my colorful and glittery clothes. Aging is tough enough without making it even more miserable!
