It’s 94° and humid today, and I wanted to do a full face of makeup, but I just can’t handle foundation and concealer in this weather. It feels so suffocating and heavy. I’ve barely worn foundation and concealer over the past few weeks because of the heat, and I really miss it! I’m so ready for cooler 65° weather. For now, I’ll just stick to eye makeup, lip color, and blush. Anyone else in the same boat?
I’m a die-hard makeup enthusiast, but I have some unusual temperature rules, at least according to my friends:
Above 90°F: I stick to sunscreen and might do my brows and apply lip balm.
Above 80°F: I avoid heavy makeup, opting instead for a light skin tint and a bit of color on my eyes, cheeks, lips, and using pencil eyeliner.
Below 80°F: I’m open to any type of makeup.
I find that the combination of sweat, heat, and makeup tends to break me out.
I agree—living in Texas means I only get to wear makeup occasionally. It feels like a waste of product and time to put on makeup that might last only thirty minutes. I can’t wait for late October to arrive!
I use MAC Face and Body Foundation when it’s hot. It offers just enough coverage to even out my skin tone without feeling heavy on my skin.
Oh man, I forgot how much I loved getting this in the massive bottle with my pro discount. I really enjoyed it!
They discontinued the 4oz I’m still working through mine.
yeees, This is the answer👏
