I’m curious to know what has worked for others in improving their skin’s appearance. What is one thing you’ve done that has noticeably enhanced your skin? Whether it’s a specific product, a change in your routine, or a lifestyle habit, I’d love to hear your tips and experiences!
I found a moisturizer and sunscreen that suit my skin type and started double cleansing. My skin is still far from perfect, but these changes have significantly reduced my skin bumps and breakouts.
I totally agree with this!
What products do you use for double cleansing?
If you’re in Europe and on a budget, I recommend Balea oil and Balea cleansing gel from their Hautrein line.
I used to use Boscia Makeup Breakup Cleansing Oil followed by CeraVe, but I think Boscia has discontinued that product. I haven’t found a good dupe or replacement yet.
I’ve been loving the Byoma Oil Cleanser (available at Target in the US) and then follow it with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Face Wash.
Japanese DHC Cleansing Oil is great, but it’s expensive and comes in a small bottle. Some more affordable options that are just as good include Elizavecca (10oz for $14 on iHerb) and CeraVe (16oz for $16). All of these emulsify with water and wash away cleanly. I usually follow up with a second wash using CeraVe for oily skin (low pH) or SheaTerra Black Rose Hip.
Absolutely! I’ve stuck with the same moisturizer and sunscreen for years, but recently switched up my facial wash and added sunflower oil to my routine. The results have been amazing—my bumps and blackheads vanished! People keep complimenting me on my glass skin, which surprised me at first since my routine is pretty simple with just moisturizer and sunscreen.
Yes! Double cleansing saved my skin and I highly recommend it!
