I’m looking for tips on how to maintain a pleasant, natural body scent. While I don’t mind using perfume for special occasions, I’d love to have a nice everyday scent. Besides the basics of daily showering and thorough washing, what can I do to enhance my natural fragrance?
Edit for clarity: I don’t smell bad; I just want to have that intoxicating scent you read about in romance novels, or as close to it as possible in real life!
I’ve been using glycolic acid on my armpits lately, and I don’t smell at all when I sweat now. Not sure if that’s the kind of answer you’re looking for, but it works for me!
Long live glycolic acid! Besides using it on my armpits year-round, I also apply it to my feet and pubic area (I have pubic hair) during the hottest part of summer. Plus, I use it on my bum cheeks, and it keeps them so soft!
I’ve noticed that I tend to smell worse the day after eating a lot of red meat, like after a BBQ or KBBQ. So, maybe avoiding red meat could help? This is just my personal experience, though, and it might vary from person to person.
The meat sweats are definitely real. I grew up semi-vegetarian, but big family gatherings were always meat-heavy. The car ride home always smelled pretty rank compared to the trip there!
Lol, the meat sweats are all too real . I don’t eat much red meat as a rule, but when I do, I definitely notice I smell worse the next day, especially if I exercise.
Omg, I had a friend from the US visit Italy, and she said the people there joked that Americans smell like red meat! Obviously, it’s an exaggeration, but it still made me think about it.
