Coping with a Gel Polish Allergy: Seeking Advice and Alternatives

I’ve been doing my nails with gel polish for about a year, and it became a hobby I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I developed an allergy, and now I can’t even use regular nail polish without having a reaction. I’m heartbroken because I’ve lost both my beautiful nails and a creative outlet I loved.

Some have suggested using press-ons, but my curved nail beds make them lift easily, and it’s just not the same as doing my own nails.

Has anyone else gone through something similar? How did you cope with it?

While you could certainly make press-ons for others while wearing gloves, it might be worth exploring other creative outlets.

Unfortunately, the best approach might be to accept it and move forward. You can still have beautiful nails with proper care and regular use of cuticle oil.
