Whitening Teeth… Any Tips?

I didn’t have great dental habits when I was younger, and now, almost 30, I still feel like my teeth are yellow. I’ve tried whitening strips, but they make me feel sick. Plus, I heard I shouldn’t have tea or coffee if I’m using them since it’ll just make stains worse. Are there any other ways to whiten teeth that don’t cost a lot at the dentist?

I’ve been using Sensodyne whitening toothpaste and not rinsing after brushing. It stays on my teeth all night, and I’ve noticed they’re whiter.

I already like Sensodyne, so I’ll definitely try this. Thanks a ton!

Some people have a natural yellow or greyish undertone in their enamel. If you’ve already done a professional cleaning and keep up with brushing and flossing, it might just be the color of your enamel. You could try an electric toothbrush and a good whitening toothpaste. Also, try using baking soda on a toothbrush a few times a week for an extra clean. Oil pulling can help a bit too.

Brushing for a full 2 minutes every time and using a peroxide mouthwash helped me a lot.

Switching to an electric toothbrush really helped make my teeth whiter over time. It’s made a big difference after a year of using it.

My dentist recommended baking soda toothpaste instead of regular whitening toothpaste. It’s not a huge change, but it does help. If you can save up a bit, dentist-recommended at-home whitening kits work really well.

Thank you! I’ll look into these ideas. Appreciate it!
