It could be anything from self-care products, shoes, accessories, to clothing.
Teeny tiny purses just not practical for me since I carry a lot of stuff! And those tiny colored sunglasses can go away too.
I will never get tiny sunglasses in general. What’s the point if light is just coming in from around the glasses?
Yes absolutely, Exactly!!
You would have to pry my Ray-Ban Wayfarers from my cold, dead hands.
Those tiny sunglasses are like fake pockets they are just for show and do not serve any real purpose. I wear big sunglasses not only to avoid squinting, eye pain, and headaches but also to protect my eyes, including the eyelids and under-eye area, from sun damage.
Additionally, tiny glasses only look good on about 2% of people. They are a classic example of “this doesn’t fit well, but the person wearing them is attractive.”
Small glasses look ridiculous on me. I need something that covers my uneven brows!
I agree about the tiny purses, but not the glasses, lol.
Crop tops love the idea and I am a bit envious of the girls who can pull them off! However, it is really frustrating that everything seems to be cropped these days. As a tall woman with a long torso, finding a full-length top is nearly impossible, and I do not want to show off my stomach all the time.
Totally! I am all for people wearing crop tops if they want, but for a while, it felt like every single shirt in every store was cropped. It seems like we’re just now starting to move past that. Are there even sections in stores for people who need clothes for work?
I already lived through this as a teen in the late 90s/early aughts. I didn’t want to show my stomach then and I don’t want to now that I’m in my 40s! I’ve never had the body for crops!
I love crop tops, but I really dislike the micro crop trend . I’m tall, which is why I liked cropped tops in the first place, but the micro crops just look like a bra on me, and I’m not looking to walk around like that all the time! For those who are into that, more power to you! It’s just not for me.
Omg, I totally agree. I hated them even before I had my son. Now with a mom pouch and my back and boobs having expanded to a 40F, I might as well be wearing a dinner napkin.
My solution for this is to wear crop tops over a knee-length spaghetti strap dress. You can also use a tube dress if the crop top has spaghetti straps. This way, I can enjoy all the cute tops without worrying about whether they’re cropped or not.
I would also venture a guess that the reason companies keep manufacturing them is for the simple reason that they can charge similar prices for something that has less fabric, which translates for cost savings for them. So we keep seeing them even though I think a great many of us are well and over the crop top trend.
I would also guess that companies keep making crop tops because they can charge similar prices for items with less fabric, which saves them money. So, despite many of us being over the crop top trend, they keep producing them.
This. I recently had a $100 gift card for VS/Pink that I had been holding onto since Christmas. I dislike the mall with a passion so I decided to go online to find something that I might like. This is me stepping out of my comfort zone as I haven’t bought anything for VS OR Pink in well over a decade.
I decided not to get bras as I need to be fitted and I’m working on losing 30lbs right now. I decided some sweatpants and sweatshirts would be nice to have as it will be getting cold soon enough.
It took me 3 days to make a decision. Mostly because of all the crop tops! Even the “sweatshirts” from Pink were almost crop tops. Im 35 and understand the demographic for Pink isn’t necessarily me or my body type. However I figured I’d attempt to make it work. I enjoy my shirts long. I was able to find clearance items after reading reviews relentlessly. So I have two sweat pants and sweat shirt sets and one long sleeve shirt on the way (free shipping). Hopefully they fit. If not free to return. The VS stuff was more realistic and not as short but much more in price. Hopefully I’m good. If not: I’ve learned my lesson lol. I made sure to size up to xl and one zip up hoodie a 2xl.
Personally, I am sick of seeing cropped shirts that aren’t actual crop tops. Shirts should either be full length or cropped above the navel. That “in between” length stores have been doing is unflattering on almost everyone.
